Celebrating Fitness, Discipline, and the Spirit of Ram

About The Marathon

Join us in February 2026 as Run for Ram returns with its 4th Edition, bringing runners from across India together in Ayodhya for a high-energy, purpose-driven marathon experience.

More than a race, Run for Ram is a celebration of fitness, discipline, and inner strength, inspired by the values represented by Shri Ram. Set against the historic routes of Ayodhya, the marathon draws inspiration from the 14-Koshi Parikrama, an age-old endurance path that has existed long before modern marathons.

This event blends sport, culture, and community, creating an inclusive platform for professional runners, fitness enthusiasts, families, and first-time participants. With multiple race categories, a nationwide outreach, and a growing movement across cities in India and beyond, Run for Ram stands as a modern marathon rooted in values, focus, and physical well-being.

About Ayodhya

Ayodhya is a city shaped by history, legacy, and timeless values. Known as the land associated with Shri Ram, it carries a deep sense of discipline, purpose, and continuity that resonates even today.

Running through Ayodhya offers more than just a course. From the Sarayu Ghat to historic pathways and riverfront stretches, the route allows participants to experience the legacy of the city at every step. It is a rare opportunity to run through places that have witnessed centuries of tradition, culture, and collective memory.

As runners move along the course, they don’t just cover distance, they feel the character of the city, making the marathon a unique blend of fitness, focus, and heritage, all experienced in motion.
